Jim Bridger war kein Europäer - stimmt, aber europäischstämmig. Die Bezeichnung Weißer ist mMn genau so rassistisch wie Schwarzer, oder sonst was. Der Verweis auf den US Census - na ja, im US-Englischen wird hier oft von "caucasian" gesprochen. Würde irgendow Schwarzer geschrieben, hätten wir die feinste Rassismusdebatte und/oder Shitstorm...
Aber bevor ich weiter diskutier, laß es wie es ist und gut ist.
