H-sst - Ich hatte gehofft, du könntest zumindest Quellen richtig lesen und übersetzen: Initially established as a Union army supply depot and hospital, Camp Nelson was one of the largest recruitment and training centers for African American soldiers during the Civil War, and served as a refugee camp for their wives and children. und: In April 1863, Burnside asked a search committee to identify a location that would allow the Department of the Ohio to consolidate troops and supplies in central Kentucky. Located along the Lexington-Danville Turnpike and adjacent to the Kentucky River, the camp was situated along major lines of transportation and near the cities of Nicholasville, Lexington and Richmond.
Wo liest du hier, Bekannt wurde Burnsides Army of the Ohio auch für Camp Nelson. Camp Nelson war ein wichtiges Versorgungsdepot und Sammelort für Truppen der Ohio-Armee für 1863. Das war alles. Dass dort später Afroamerikaner ausgebildet und andererseits geflohene Sklaven untergebracht wurden, ist zwar furchtbar interessant, hat aber in diesem Artikel nichts zu suchen. Nebenbei ist deine Diktion fehlerhaft: Das Depot wurde nicht für Burnside, sondern durch Burnside für das US-Heer angelegt, das natürlich auch der Ohio-Armee diente. --Edmund (Diskussion) 22:06, 5.
